As part of its commitment to supporting communities and creating meaningful social impact, CWG Plc recently visited Lagos Island Maternity Hospital, where it settled the outstanding medical bills of indigent mothers, helping to ease financial burdens and enabling them to focus on their recovery and the well-being of their newborns.  
 

We believe that building a better future begins with supporting the people who will shape it. While technology remains at the heart of our business, our commitment to preparing Africa for tomorrow extends beyond innovation to initiatives that improve lives and strengthen communities.  

 The intervention was designed to support mothers who had completed their medical care but were unable to clear their hospital bills. By settling these outstanding costs, CWG helped relieve a significant burden on affected families, allowing the mothers to return home with their newborns and begin the next chapter of their lives with greater peace of mind.  

 During the visit, members of the CWG team spent time engaging with hospital staff and families, gaining a deeper appreciation of the realities many mothers face and the importance of community support during vulnerable moments.  

 Reflecting on the initiative, the Group Head of Human Resources at CWG Plc, Mrs. Tinu Adeyemi, said:

For many of the beneficiaries, the support provided reassurance, dignity and the opportunity to focus fully on postpartum recovery and caring for their newborn children without the immediate pressure of unsettled medical expenses.
