CWG Plc, a leading Pan-African, technology-driven company, has been officially named by the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) as a System Integrator for its mandatory Electronic Invoicing (e-Invoicing) system.
This certification authorises CWG to provide end-to-end systems integration services that connect the existing ERP, accounting, and invoicing platforms of Nigerian organisations directly to the FIRS e-Invoice portal.
Through this, businesses can automate invoice generation, validation, and reporting, ensure real-time compliance, reduce manual processes, minimise errors, and strengthen audit readiness. The initiative is central to modernising tax administration, improving transparency, and creating a more efficient environment for commercial transactions in Nigeria.
Commenting on the certification, Afolabi Sobande, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of CWG Plc, said:
“This certification is a significant validation of our technical capabilities and our position as a trusted partner for both enterprise and public sector digital transformation. As a recognised System Integrator, our priority is to ensure a seamless, non-disruptive transition for businesses. We will leverage our deep integration expertise to link their ERP and accounting systems to the FIRS platform, automating compliance and enabling them to focus on their core operations.”
The FIRS e-Invoicing framework mandates that taxpayers generate and validate every invoice electronically, receiving a unique FIRS Invoice Number and QR Code for each transaction. CWG’s integration capabilities ensure businesses can execute this automatically from within their source systems, eliminating bottlenecks and providing real-time visibility into invoice lifecycles.
Highlighting the strategic significance of this achievement, Adewale Adeyipo, Group Managing Director/CEO of CWG Plc, added:
“Being named as a System Integrator for the FIRS e-Invoice programme aligns perfectly with our vision of creating and enabling ecosystems that drive sustainable value. This initiative allows us to deploy our platform capabilities to address a critical national need, and we are excited to partner with organisations as they navigate this new regulatory landscape. Ultimately, this is about building the digital infrastructure for a more transparent and accountable future.”
With this certification, CWG Plc is positioned to support organisations by assessing their current invoicing architecture, implementing the required integrations, and always-on optimisation to ensure continued compliance with evolving regulatory expectations.
The company continues to reinforce its commitment to national development by offering technology solutions that modernise business processes and empower institutions across sectors.
