Apple has unveiled a new smaller, low-cost iPhone. The 4-inch iPhone SE replaces its previous iPhone 5S at the low-price end of its range, while offering some of the newer specifications of its top model, the iPhone 6S, such as the A9 processor and support for 4K video. Compared to the iPhone 5S, it also offers improved battery life, faster LTE and Wi-Fi and a better camera of 12 megapixels. The new smartphone will be available in a choice of four metallic finishes, starting at USD 399 for the 16 GB model or USD 17 per month on a 24-month contract from Apple stores in the US. A 64 GB model will also be available, for USD 499.
